Privacy policy
This policy explains what data formiworks.fi collects, what it is used for and what rights you have. It covers the website and the tools connected to it. Updated 7 August 2026.

What data we collect
We do not collect names, phone numbers or other direct contact details on the site, because the site has no contact form. Contact happens through the booking system, described below.
The site collects the following data:
- Usage data. The pages you visit, the length of your visit, where you arrived from, your browser and device type, and your approximate location.
- IP address. Used for company identification and security.
- Cookie identifiers. Random numbers we use to tell repeat visits apart.
Company identification
We use the Leadfeeder service, which uses the IP address to identify which company a visit to the site came from. The service does not tell us an individual person's name or contact details. We see, for example, that some company has visited the pricing page, not who it was.
The service is provided by Dealfront Group GmbH. The legal basis for processing is legitimate interest: we want to know what types of companies are interested in our service so that we can target sales and content sensibly.

Analytics and advertising measurement
The site uses the following third-party tools:

Google Analytics tells us which pages people are interested in and where the traffic comes from. TikTok Pixel measures whether advertising on TikTok brings visits to the site. Cloudflare delivers the site and protects it from abuse.
Some of these providers may transfer data outside the EU and the EEA. Transfers are based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that the site stores in your browser. The site uses the following cookies:

You can block cookies in your browser settings or delete cookies that have already been stored. The site will still work if you block cookies. Analytics and advertising measurement will not work in that case.
Booking
The site's "Book a short meeting" button takes you to a Google Calendar booking page. When you book a time, you give your name and email address to Google, and the details are passed to us as a calendar booking.
We use these details to arrange the meeting and for related communication. The legal basis for processing is the preparation of a contract or legitimate interest. We do not add people who book to a marketing list without separate consent.
Retention periods
Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default settings, typically for a maximum of 14 months. Company-level data collected by Leadfeeder is retained for as long as the service agreement is in force. We keep the contact details from bookings for as long as the client relationship, or its preparation, requires.
We delete the data once there is no longer a basis for processing it.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- know what data about you is being processed
- request the correction of inaccurate data
- request the deletion of your data
- object to processing based on legitimate interest
- request the restriction of processing
- receive your data in a portable format
- lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority

The supervisory authority in Finland is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman, tietosuoja.fi.
Changes
We update this policy when the site's tools or processing practices change. The date at the top of the policy shows the latest change.
